Billet Aluminum over Cast: Instead going cheap by using cast aluminum – which can be weakened by air pockets and the  repeated heating and cooling cycles of the casting process – we manufacture the Strongbox from solid Billet 6061 aircraft grade aluminum.  If strength, performance and durability are a priority – there’s no question billet is the way to go.

Hardened Steel for Extreme Reliability:  The Strongbox shifter assembly utilizes case hardened steel designed to hold up against the most aggressive shifting and extreme conditions.  The Ranger Standard Strongbox shaft is made from exceptionally hard 4340 alloy steel that is heat treated to provide incredible strength.  Throw anything you can at this shaft – you’ll break before it does…
